What Happened

The NCSC and the Centre have been clashing over the issue of de-reserving government posts for the last two years with the commission saying that de-reservation proposals are often incomplete and do not reveal alternate efforts made to fill the reserved posts.

The meeting, to be chaired by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, is expected to review the party’s preparedness for the Assembly elections due early next year (The Hindu - National).

The landslide was reported at Gaushiya Chawl (row tenement) in the Ashok Nagar locality of Chirag Nagar at 3 (The Hindu - National).
